Privacy Policy

What we collect

BEARING collects only what's necessary to provide the service. When you create an account, we collect your email address and the preferences you set (regions, notification schedule, home airports). If you subscribe to a paid tier, payment is processed by Stripe — we do not store card details.

We collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) to diagnose technical issues and understand how the reports are being used.

How we use it

Your email is used to send the reports and alerts you've subscribed to — nothing else. We do not sell, share, or license personal data to third parties for marketing purposes. Aggregate, anonymised usage data (which reports are read, which regions are most followed) may be used to improve the editorial coverage and scoring model.

Data storage

Account data is stored in Supabase (AWS us-east-1). We use Vercel for hosting, which may log request data in accordance with their own privacy policy. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.

Your rights

You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings, which removes all personal data from our systems within 30 days. To request a copy of your data or ask questions about this policy, email privacy@bearingtravel.com.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. No advertising or tracking cookies are used. We do not use third-party analytics services.
