Wasatch Deep Week
Alta, Snowbird, Brighton, Solitude — the full circuit.
Overview
The Wasatch Front has four world-class ski areas within 45 minutes of Salt Lake City, and they share a snowpack that is scientifically exceptional. This six-day journey works through all four, guided by snow conditions rather than a fixed rotation. When Alta is dumping, you ski Alta. When Snowbird's Mineral Basin has been skied in, you move to Brighton's trees. The Wasatch Interconnect provides the link.
Who This Is For
Strong intermediate to expert skiers who want to maximise powder skiing in North America's most reliable range, without the logistics overhead of a DIY trip. Bearing handles mountain selection each day based on real-time intelligence.
Timing Intelligence
January through mid-February is the consistent sweet spot. The Wasatch receives an average of 500 inches of snow per year; in strong El Niño winters, that number climbs above 600. We track the interplay between Pacific moisture and continental cold air from October to advise on the best departure window.
Lodging
Goldener Hirsch Inn, Alta
Boutique ski lodgeAlta's only luxury property — an Austrian-influenced inn directly at the base of the lifts. Warm, intimate, and the right size for skiers who want to be on snow at first light.
